Kampala is a relatively small city and easily accessible. Minibus taxi, offer the cheapest mode of transport. A 5 minute walk from Caran hotel apartments will bring you to the Muyenga Tankhill road where you can jump onto a passing 14 seater minibus taxi for UGX 2000 depending on where you want to go. They stop by the supermarket in Kabalagala, Nsambya and the main market Nakasero in the city centre.

Hire is a great option for those wanting total freedom, ideal for youngsters, and can be arranged through us. The Kansanga and Kabalagala area of Kampala is lined with supermarkets, bars, nightclubs, cafes and restaurants on either side. It gets pretty rowdy down here on evenings and over the weekend. Some spots run happy hour specials!

Kabalagala Market – the main market for Muyenga area is located at the Kabalagala trading centre ( 2.7 km away) and has a beautiful selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh fish, meat and flowers. It is worth a visit just to look around.
